Nutrimin D’ is a preparation of amino acids, glucose and electrolytes for intravenous nutrition. 500ml of ‘Nutrimin D’ contains 7% composite amino acids (essential & non-essential), with 50gm dextrose (10%) & electrolytes: i.v infusion. Ind; C/I; Cautions: See notes above.
Dosage & admin: Adults, 200-800ml daily by i.v infusion, initially 15-20 drops/min then can be increased to 30-40 drops/min.
Infants & children: i.v infusion should be given calculated as 0.2-0.25gm of nitrogen/kg body weight in 24 hours, or 15-20 drops/min. Note: For further information please consult manufacturer's literature.
